Hi, sorry to my friends, I haven't updated my blog for days. It was because I just didn't have the feeling to blog. That's why some friends thought I was not in singapore, or I have suddenly disappeared. Haha, I am still alive, and living well.
And why didn't I work at corner? It is because I am quite busy with my teaching work, not only in Kumon, I also got many tutions. I think it is better compared with working long hours in corner.

2006年对我来说好漫长，很多不顺的事情搞得我曾经差点忧郁症，感觉生活很辛苦。不过总算过去了，希望新的一年里事事顺利。
现在才知道一个人可以实现自己的梦想，并且做自己喜欢的事情是不容易的，有几个人真正做到了呢？随着年龄的增长，身边的生活压力，很多人都在做着自己不喜欢的工作，所以生活也给我们很多无奈。
不管以前的多么好还是多么不好，过去就让它去吧。毕竟我们不可以带着回忆生活。
2007年会怎样呢？在新的一年里，你们有什么计划或目标？为什么不做一个计划呢？写下来时时提醒自己，完成一项划掉一个，你会发现你有很大的惊喜呢~~ 下面是我的计划书，你们监督我。

2007 年计划

1、每个月有固定的储蓄
2、体重保持在46-49kg，一星期做3次运动（跑步机，游泳，yoga）

4、考过雅思（pass IELTS)
5、接到很多的 modelling 的工作
6、拿到 PR（永久居民）之后，找到一份理想的工作
7、学一份才艺
8、在年底去日本旅游

Last night after working went straight to @corner, as we had a party there. They started from 2pm, when I reached there, they had finished important parts- gift exchanges and some games, I missed my chance to draw my gift number, so I think my gift was drewn by someone. My gift is something like chocolate, it is nice to eat. I didn't take the pic because I can't wait to eat it up. haha~~ When I reached there, The turkey was cut into pieces, that's why I didn't see the whole perfect Turkey. Then I joined them to play blackjack, it was so much fun. In the end, I lost $3, haha. Just like Alex said: Participation is more important.

After I drank some alcohol, I felt very happy, no wonder people like to be drunk, it's reasonable. On the way home, I bought Green Tea and Whisky , resumed drinking at home. We played card games at home.

But I don't know why I suddenly felt very depressed, very sad... ... then I cried......

Some people would laugh without reason, some would cry , some vomit...... after drunk. but for me, you should guess what's my reaction.

It was really bad after u got drunk, feeling very unwell, expecially this morning,after I woke up, my head was nearly crashed, headache.

I cooked the Japanese Curry for dinner, which I learnt from a TV show. It is very tasty, and I ate a lot with rice, I really seldom eat rice but this time it was exceptional. I think I am able to be a chef now.

It is fun to cook sometimes, but each time my dish is different tastes even I cooked the same dish, do u know why? Haha~~ because I always forgot the steps, each time I made differently, and put some different seasonings, I think I better write down the steps or I browse the Internet. It's embarrasing to mention it.

Tomo is Christmas Eve, how will u guys celebrate it? Will u eat Turkey and open ur present under the Christmas Tree?

We went to shopping today, it was fun this time, because we bought many household items which cost us a lot of money, but it is worth it.

Usually when I go shopping with my dear, I only buy my things like clothes, accessories and so on. He looks very bored. I feel embarrassed. But this time it was different, we bought the things which we were both interested in, even though it was very tiring , we were both very happy.

Last Friday I was supposed to watch movie, but the tickets had been sold out. Then I went to do some shopping with Weeraku. She joined me a bit late as she came from work, and she wore a office lady suit, I felt she looks very professional.
This month is Festive Season, and the sales has started , don't miss the shopping spree, girls~~~

As for celebratations that I got my PR , my honey asked me to treat him. See~~ He is conning me!!!

I am poor~~ Haha. But anyway it was my turn to treat him, because I always said to him I would treat him once a month , but I didn't keep my promise, many many months have passed....... As it has been raining the whole day, we just went to Novena Square2 which is nearby our house, we were supposed to go takashimaya level 4 the Korean Restaurant. but anyway the Korean Restaurant in Novena is also good. We ate BBQ, I like the Korean food, because you don't need to order too much, before the main dish, there are many cold small dish , it is value for money.

The food is fantastic, we ate too much and too fast, when we had felt full, it was already too late, and regreted eating too much. It is uncomfortable to eat a lot.

Ok, stop then. It's 00:50am. Tomorrow I have to work in corner.

28th, Nov 2007 Wed- is an important night to me. I am officially a part of singapore.
I was very excited , especially my honey. He was too nervous to opened the envelope at that moment. We hold our breathe, the heart-beat fast and non-stop until we saw the first words- Congratulations.
I have been waiting for my PR long time, I even thought I was rejected again. This is the second time I applied, I had been rejected once 18 months ago. I didn't know whether it was approved or not, because I saw the letter from ICA, it would be informed in three month, then this was the 4th month already, I thought it could be hopeless.
It is a really great thing to me.

We should have plans for our living, if we have a goal, we would strive for it. Even though changes are inevitable and our plans don't work out. Somehow it is better that we have plans to move forward.

1. Buying a property for my parents in my country
2. Helping sb pay back sth
3. Either further my study or having a baby
4. Find a decent job or run a fashion shop
5.Travelling annually, go Europe, Japan and Korea

7. Keep fit forever
I don't know what will happen in the future, but I just make a note to remind myself. Life is not just about destiny, there should be plans to make it meaningful.

I went to ST.James on friday night with my old friends. We haven't een each other for nearly 2 yrs. Thanks to weeraku's birthday, we could get together.

It is always nice to meet up friends, especially old friends, with so many changes, like jobs, families, bfs. and looks.

I met weeraku at eight, then we did some shopping together. She is a very kind girl, sometimes she teaches me to cook thai food ( she is from Thailand) . Since she had a job, we can't meet up that often. She was dressed up that day, as we roamed, she asked me to make up for her. I certainly agreed. She looked gorgeous after make-up, so I told her whenever I saw her, I wanted to see her with makeup.

Nas came aroud 10, she is a Russian girl, very pretty and sexy. Since the first time I met her, her dressing always impressed me, spicy and hot. Of course, she wore very hot that night, no matter where she goes, guys eyes would pop out.

Fon was the last to join us. I heard she made a surgery on her nose , so I was curious to check it out. It was natural, like real

We opened 4 bottles of black labels, maybe so long haven't been together that we were so high. But I left earlier because next day I had to work. What a pity!

I will write down two things, one which is good, and the other is bad things that happens to me.

I'll start with the good stuff, I am very excited to be getting my favorite phone soon. When I saw the I-phone, I fell in love it. It is called ' Love at first sight'. I just simply like it, even when people said there was no guarantee and it didn't have good pixels for the function, I didn't care, I just wanted it at once. Then I called my dear, he paid for the two phones. One is for me and the other for himself. Then we can have the same phone. Thanks dear, I know you are always generous to me. I really appreciate.

Now the bad stuff. During the past days, I've been busy with my work, my workplace moved to new location, and I think I'll be shifting house soon, due to the high rental. But so far, I haven't seen any places that satisfies me . All the apartments are very expensive around Novena, more than $3000 monthly. The house I'm in is increasing its price to almost half of the previous price$4500 per month. It is crazy. I've no idea if I'll stay or move

I got a new neighbour, who is from Sweden, but she is actually a chinese

from china ,that's why we got a sense of "相见恨晚" , it means knowing

each other a bit too late.

They just live opposite my house, so we usually don't need to wear shoes

going to and and two each other's house. I am really happy to know them.

I've been busy with my work, and playing with their kids who are so

adorable. I got a maternal love for them. I wouldn't know how much I

loved babies if I didn't meet them, they sometimes give me a feeling of

having a baby myself.

On Tuesday night( mid-autumn festival) I attended a Taiwanese party.

It is said families or friends get together to BBQ as a Taiwan custom. It

sounded great, but I was not interested ,because there were "FU TAI TAI"-

rich ladies there, I don't like such environment, I have no common topics

with them.

The BBQ party was held beside the swimming pool, it has a good view. which

made me recall on my childhood. We celebrated under the moon, the kids

took Lanterns around the building, play with fireworks, and play games .

I seemed to have transparented to my childhood when I saw the kids.

How warm life is!

"The oversea's moon is rounder" Is it true? I miss my family, my friends

which are far away on the other side. I truely think the moon is the same

everywhere .

My colleague's niece, I don't know her name, but she is very adorable

I am talking about racial discrimination. I find that there is much discrimination around me, even though the government have been trying to change such behaviour.

I think it is really unfair to some people. Sometimes it happens to me. When I walk around chinatown or somewhere with a guy, most singapreans would view me as a prostitude or whatever bad titles. I was really hurt by their accusatary look, this is why I rarely appear at chinatown.

Should I be treated unfairly just because I am from China? I have to admit some mainland girls sell themselves for whatever reasons, but there are still some who are virtuous, please don't malign all, it's not fair to the rest.

There are different races in the world, all men are created equal and we should respect each other.

I was told by one foreigner. Among Asian, the top status is ABC (American Born Chinese);

the second is HK; then Singaporean, next Taiwanese; the last is mainland.

After I heard that, I felt a pain to my heart. How come we have such big differences.

We are all chinese, we shouldn't have be divided, we are a family.

Do you think it is fair? No one can predict the future? Who knows exactly what will happen next? So be careful with your words! Try putting yourself in their shoes, you will know how it feels.

I hope there will be no more racial discrimination and no war in this world, instead by a peaceful world.

I have not updated my blog for a few days. I've been busy with my work and after work, I was tired and had really no mood. I 've become lazy to blog.

My life is stable and simple now. I enjoy my life. But sometimes we could be lost in a tempting world, we always want a better life, we are hardly satisfied. It makes us sressed. Everyone need a way to de-stress, Otherwise , it is easy to get depression. Don't think tooo much, speak out to your friends, and console yourself, you're not the worst person in the world, Be an optimist! Ok?

For my past few days, I need to mention a special day to all the teachers. Yes, it's Teacher's Day. I think I was fated to be a teacher. When I was a child, an adult asked what I wanted to be as when I grew up. Undoubtedly, my answer was to be a teacher. At that time, my favorite game was playing a role as a teacher with my young friends.

As time goes by, my teaching dream became true. It started in China. At the beginning, I was very excited, but no matter how enthusiastic I was, I got tired of it after doing it everyday. So I wanted to change my job, do sth else. But I found maybe teaching is suitable to me. Now I enjoy teaching .

Before Teacher's Day, we got a celebration with my colleagues. We celebrated in a function room near my boss's house. There were about 30+ staff who attended.

We played games, had dinner and chit chat. But the exciting moment was during the lucky draw session. Of course, everyone wanted the big prize, but it really depends on luck, I was lucky that night, I won a vocuum cleaner. I was so happy.

Thanks to my boss who organised this gathering, Thanks to my colleagues, I am happy working with them.

Apart from that, I also got some gifts from my students. I am happy not only for the gift, but also I felt a sense of achievement.

I was luckily invited to attend a high tea cum fashion show

at raffles town club dunearn ballroom. It was a special

gathering, and only women wereinvited.

It was my first time to be an audience watching fashion show

so closely on the spot. All the models were foreigners, they

were demonstrating the new seasons collection on the

T-stage. I got a price list of clothes they were wearing. The prices

ranged from $380-$2000. I forgot what brand they were,

because they were not appealing to me.

After the fashion show, Hi-tea started. There are 4 different type

of food-dessert, appetiser, seafood and vegetable. I grabbed a

little bit from each dish, so that I did not miss any dish. The food

was very yummy.

What a pity! I didn't take any picture of the food, due to

inconvenices of the situation. The time was passing fast , and we

really enjoyed the girls talk.

Moreover, I also got a free gift before I left. It was a scarf. I

was happy because I had wanted to buy a new scarf, but now

I needn't waste money.

Hopefully, I will be invited to attend such a gathering again.

Not only eat gourmet food, and also can get free gift. What

happiness!

I felt tired after working long hours in the shop . When I reached home, I

decided to do some exercise. As I haven't been doing any exercises for a

long time I found I had put on some weight.

I am afraid of getting fatter. So I am trying to get rid of it.

I put on my sports wear, then went to the basement (our gym is at the

basement). I ran 20 minutes on the treadmill. Then I went to the roof

(the swimming pool is up there) . I swam for 15 minutes. After exercising,

I felt refresh and energetic. So I made a decision , I will exercises 3 times

a week from now onwards.

month party. I find that my friends' new born are all girls.

Nowadays , people don't have the old fashioned thinking

of " sons are better than daughers ". Some even prefer

daughters. As for this particular friend, she once told me

she didn't mind having a daughter or a son. But after she

discovered it was a girl she was disappointed she had a

daughter. I don't know why she changes her mind so

fast. So far, she is happy to be mum. Her baby is still so

small, she has a long journey to go. She doesn't know how

the world like, She is naive and innocent. I hope the baby 's

future is bright.

Will money buy our true happiness?

Last friday, when I passed the bugis, I saw a big cake standing at nearly 5m high, it is Singapore's tallest wedding cake, and weighs 1,400kg. It was baked by a team of chefs from Hotel Intercontinental. It will go on sale - $50,000 for the entire cake, or $3,000 for the top tier, increasing in price to $12,000 for the bottom one. Proceeds from the sale go to the Happy Home for children in Phuket, which houses kids orphaned during the 2004 tsunami. Many people was taking photos around the cake. It was making a great commotion. I was surprised.

Why are we unhappy occasionally? Is it due to money?

Happiness can be divided into two groups: materialistic happiness and mental happiness. In our society, many people are not satisfied with their life, if we try to compare our life with the people in undeveloped countries, we would feel how nice a life we have. In Singapore, there are many rich people, but they are not happy . Are they really that dissatisfied? I think they have their own problems.

But why do money matters bother us so much?

It attributes to a lack of financial planning. What matters more is whether he can balance his budget, rather than how much he earns.

Singaporeans may be mostly prosperous but money is still a worry for most. They worry about sudden, serious illnesses or if they meet with an accident and whether they can afford treatment. Medical bills for unforeseen illness will be a heavy burden. it's hard to come up with such large amounts of money on such short notice.

As for me, I'm satisfied with the safety in Singapore, but not the cost of living. We have a high standard of living, but it's rising so fast it's hard to catch up. we have to work hard, things are expensive, no time for family, play. So how to be happy?

Here, everyone is working hard and striving to succeed. So we usually ignore some relationships,
I do hope all of us treasure our relationships and the people around you. These are important elements which make us happy.

I went to attend a wedding dinner tonight. Actually I was not very keen in the processions, because I was busy talking with Sarah. We had a nice girl's talk, I really enjoyed chatting with her. Even though her husband felt ignored by her. haha~~

Back to the wedding , after the dramatic entrance by the waiters and waitresses there was a dancing chef. He's an indian and was very fat and he was dancing with a plate balanced on his hand, the dancing steps was really funny.

The whole procession went smooth and fast. After the dinner, Bob told me he had to go home to have supper, because he was still hungry. haha~~ yeah, that's true, luckily, I had ate something before the dinner, otherwise I would have been hungry. I didn't notice how many dishes there were in total, when each dish turned up, we shared one spoon, then finish. Maybe our table was seated with 2 more guests. so .......

On the whole, it was a good chance for all the relatives to get together.

Mango beautifully cut by my honey, is it nice ?

My honey's big big boss came back from Taiwan and he brought us a box of Mangos. I was very excited when I saw so many mangos. I really like Taiwan fruit. I think Taiwan is a treasure island which produces nice fruits and many different types of snacks. If I live in Taiwan, I would be overweight.

I put the mangos in the fridge, every night , I take out 1 or 2, cut into pieces, and share with my honey. But one thing I need to mention, I like eating, I don't like cutting it , Because It 's sticky as it is too sweet.

Seeing my honey cut the mango, it's so nice. I ate all up he cut, even the seed I didn't waste, I licked it . haha~~ So he only ate the sides of the seed. He blamed me why I didn't leave some for him, but I had thought he cut 2 mangos, each of us ate one, so I had eaten up .

Then I said that I was going to cut 1 more for him.

I had a nice dinner with honey's mum

Today I went ICA to extend my pass and also do my PR things. In order to get

a faster Q-number, we got up early in the morning. But there was still a long queue.

Sigh~ I was thinking how a big sum of money they earn each day. I really hate going to

ICA, but I have no choice. The application process is very troublesome. Firstly, we went

straight to the 4th floor for doing my extension. Doing the extension went smoothly ,

it didn't take us too much time. After that, we went to the 5th floor for the PR things,

we waited for quite a long time till the monitor displayed our number. The officer serving

us was an old lady and was rude , I was wondering whether she is able to work well in

her old age, she should have retired, and leave room for the youngsters.

She just blur blur ...... so you should have known we didn't get enough documents, we

need to prepare all the details as she said , then come back next time. It made me very

upset and stressful. All the process took more than half day.

I felt very very tired .

In the evening, we went to have dinner at Crystal Jade with my honey's mum. We

don't chill out oftenly, his mum is a money-minded lady, hehe. Whenever we meet her,

she talks with us about the tough life, and she wants to take some money . hehe~~~

I have been upset recently. There is something I have to solve , and there are also somethings that happened to my friends. I am mentally stressed.

Today I went to watch the movie-Transformer. It is a very good show. It is really worth watching especially for the people who likes action or sci-fiction. On top of that, it made me recall my childhood. When I was a child, we like the transformers and watch the cartoon.

Easy and tasty homemade dishes
2 dishes:
1 . Onion ring : I bought from cold storage. It's frozen in a pack. I just took out and put into oven, then baked for 4 mintes on each side. that's all. Isn't it easy? It tastes good and crispy .

2. Cola Chicken Wings: The dish I learned from a TV show, it is a Japanese channel called " Sheng Hui Yi Ji Bang(生活一级棒)" , which is really a good show, and it gives a lot of good idea for housewife. If you want to check it out, tune in Channel 67 at midnight 12 on Wednesday .

The cooking recipes are below :

step 1: Wash the chicken wings

2: Add some dark soya sauce, light soya sauce, white pepper, a spoonful of sugar, cooking wine; Marinate them for half an hour.

3. pour some cola into the marinated chicken wings.

4. Place it into the Microwave for 8 mintues.

It's very easy and tasty. Greasy chicken.

Cooking is not as difficult as we expected before. Why don't u try it out? You can do it ~~

Then for the Underage one, do a tea dance again , just like the Old " Fire & Spark Disco, ya, we used to call it Disco. Now, its call clubbing.

That's why last night (30th of June) we went to buy whatever we need to save a 2% increase of GST! haha~~ We bought so many things that we couldn't carry , then we pushed a trolley which is filled with food and items home. Crazy ~~ haha

I am blogging while watching tv

We ate up all the food , we didn't waste any .

What did I do in the past a few days? I did nothing special - just working everyday. It sounds monotonous . This is life. But it is better than doing nothing , at least I know that I am able to earn money on my own, I am no longer a small girl everything rely on the families.

Life is sometimes tricky, when we have got something we wanted , it would not be necessary to us. But I treasure everything I own currently. I 'm afraid it will disappeared someday, so I don't like to take any risk on investing, I know it will lose some chance , but who knows the result. Stop saying I'll never be rich, at least my life is steady.

What I said is only my own attitude of life .

By the way, I explain the above pics . The first one is where I usually blogging. The second one : Last night, we went to a Korea Restaurant at Takashimaya having dinner. I highly recommended that one, the food was authentic, especailly the korea BBQ, and you don't order too much when u decide to have korea food, because you get 4 or 5 small free cold appetites before the main dishes. It was quite cheap and good . You can see we ate all up. I did't take more pics of our dishes due to the food is so nice ,and too many people around us, it is embarressing to take pics in front them.

she was just born this morning , she was just a few hours old whenI saw her

There was good news from my only hometown friend, she gave birth to a girl 2 days ago. I went to KK hospital to visit her today. She looks fine (my friend), unlike a mum who just gave birth. The baby was so very cute, although she was just borned, she can make many expressions, like yawning, cry, and smile. I know she can only see black and white colours. I bought a hamper and some tonic for my friend. It costs me $$, but I don't mind lah, well, she is my closest friend.

She and her husband was very happy with a daughter, I think this new addition to thier family makes their life more meaningful.

I was touched by the relationship between mum and baby. Each time I see the new-born, I could really feel a mother's love is really great, that is why its called unconditional love.

I admire these mums, they are brave and they never want something in return from their child.

I am easily moved by birth and death. Because they are really opposite meanings of life. The former one stands for new life, and the other one is going to heaven, it means the life has ended. Both of these changes their family's life. But everyone in this world must go through it.

So I treasure everyone around me everyday. Life life to the limit, so I don't like to waste time, and I hope everyday is filled with fun and meaningful things. Enjoy life ~~

We went to watch Spider Lily tonight as I had planed. I watched this movie due to Rainie Yang, she is so cute and pretty.

The plot is : Jade (Rainie Yang) is a webcam exhibitionist who visits a tattoo parlour looking for a sexy decoration to excite her clients. She requests for a spider-lily tattoo similar to the one framed at the tattoo parlour but the female tattoo artist, Takeko [Isabella Leong], is reluctant to accede to her request. Visiting Jade's website, Takeko finds out that they knew each other 10 years ago when Jade had a crush on her.

The point I like about this movie is it is visually nicely done, the setting, the ambience, everything just look so pretty on screen. Of course the casts also did rather well and is a break throughfor most of them. Rainie was an oblivous case but I like the fact that Isabelle was a totally different person in this movie. A 18 or 19 year-old girl with sweet voice is able to act as a cool 26 years-old tatoo artist, is definatly no joke. Having watched before her performance in the movie, I think she is a gifted actress, so do watch out for her. Not everyone is able to understand the storyline as it keeps on flashing back so some people may find it boring. However, this a tactic for a nice movie ( a way not to make it monotonness..hahah)

I just came back from Novena Suare-2 with many snacks and drinks. I ate out at Fiesta Japanese restaurant. Why I didn't go to my friend's Japanese Restaurant? Because his food is very expensive, my pocket will have a hole if I eat it often.

We ordered Chasoba, Sashimi, Ikura, California handroll and some more Sushi. I am keen on Japanese food as it is healthy and fresh.

Next tuesday I will watch a newly released movie called "Spider Lily". It seems very interesting . Because the main actress is my favorite star-Rainny . She is damn cute and pretty. I don't know how to describe her, anyway i will post some pics of her slowly. I am looking forward to tuesday.

After work, I went to the library to return books by myself. After that, I went to buy my snacks. On the way, I ran into one of the photographer-Eric. He was buying watermelon juice. He is a nice man, and he said he reads my blog occasionally, haha, I was very happy about it. I hope you will see this post.

Because he was alone, he accompanied me to buy the snacks. I bought a lot of sunflower seeds, which are my favourite snacks and I also bought some potato chips. See the above pics. which including a cup. The cup comes free with the milky candy.

After that, we had a short shopping time, and I bought a bag. I had wanted to have a transparent bag a long time ago, but I couldn't find a suitable one until I saw this one. It has 2 usages and they can be seperated . There is a white pouch inside it. Even though I have lots of bags, I still wanted it.

Tomorrow it's a working day for me, - headache~~~

After meeting it was already 10:30pm. Even though I had little food for dinner before the meeting, the food was not my taste. The meeting took 3 plus hours, It was very cold , very boring and I was very sleepy.

Then my honey brought me for supper with his Japanese friend at goodwood park hotel, which gave me a lot of memories . The food is nice. We ordered some Taiwan dishes. We ordered 6 dishes and they both ate very fast, before I knew it , the food was gone! I treated them both using my credit card and as usual my honey will pay for it . haha~~

In my previous blog, I have already written that my honey wanted the latest Nokia n76 way before it was released, and I promised to buy it for him as his birthday gift.

I got my pay a few days ago, I was very excited as I finished my internship , so I got a little pay raise. When I told him, he was sarcastic with me and asked for so many items, but i know he was just kidding. He treats me very well, and never wanted anything in return. So I just agreed to everything he wanted. haha

Who would have thought his action was very fast, the very next morning, when I got into his office, he was already using the new phone. I was suprised.

The phone is really nice and thin. It is also available in red. I think it is very suitable for girls.

I am now thinking about buying the red color phone.

He is now still very happy with it .

Last night, I went clubbing, Iwas excited because i seldom go clubbing especially in singapore. I think this was my 2nd time. Because my honey never allow me to club ........

He got VIP seats at Velvet Dragon due to his company 's event, so he brought me along, I was happy anyway, and i also asked my friends to go along. The more girls, the more fun.

Maybe it was a weekday, so there were not many people . I felt weird in such place without many people around .The music is very loud hence we aren't able to have any conversation . We opened 3 bottles Brandy and some snacks. The dancing girl was dancing sexy dance with her spicy body, just like flirting with sb.

My friends and me were playing games, my honey and his buddy were playing pool.

After party, we went to have supper at Tiong Boh RD , we ate Chili crab, very tasty. I was the only girl left with my honey's friends, it was quite boring for me. They talked boring topics from different food to pollution. haha. I nearly slept. Around 3 +, We went home, just wanted to sleep like a pig.

Tonight, we have a dinner with them, OMG~ I think it will be boring for me.

Sunday I participated in another competition-The best model in singapore . Actually when my friend had asked me to join , I was suprised because I didn't think it fitted me, and I'm below the height requirement. I asked her if she joined wrongly. She was sure that we will be ok , besides all our outfits and stuff were sponsored. It was a temptation for me. So I agreed to join it. Just for the fun of it ~

This time I was not nervous at all, because I knew I would not get in ,I took it in a relaxed manner, on the other hand, there were no Q&A segments.

I missed the Thursday rehearal , and had to make up for it on sunday morning . It lasted for about 3 hours and then we had professional make-up artists to doll us up . I was very lucky to have a very sweet artist and she was very kind. My friend gave me a good compliments on my makeup even though I thought it was too thick for me . I don't do thick makeup usually.

The competition started at 3 , we changed clothes really fast when we went down the stage in 3 segments. The show lasted only half hour I thought.

The result was the same as I had expected. They only needed tall ones. Anyway it was an experience for me on being a real model, on top of that, I got nice outfits , makeup, and contact lens.

Today is the happiest day in the past 2 days, I was moody , and cried a lot in those 2 days. My heart was broken when quarrelling, so I hate quarrelling.

Do u want to know why? I don't want to tell u too much, because it's my personal things. Everyone has some depressions and their own problems I think. Stop telling u unhappy things, tell you sth good instead.

After work , I went to shopping with my honey, and he agreed something which he never allows me to do . So I am very very very happy~~~ Thanks for ur support.

We had a short shopping today , then we went to have dinner at Isetan , we are so hungry tomorrow we will continue to shop , we want to make some effort for singapore economics. haha~~

Regular customer and also my friend .

Hey, my dearest friends.

I am now working in @corner , which is a cybercafe. Some of u may know I am working part timer staff , some don't know it. Anyway, I like working here, because this is my first job in singapore, and it is in charge by my honey. I can surf the internet while working , So I feel easy just like staying at home.

Some of my friends are curious why I am so hard-working with 2 jobs? Am I money-minded or I just like money? Those are not really true. I am satisfied while I am working . I don't think it is tough on me. I enjoy it.

By the way, last thursday I went to watch a newly released movie - Pirates of the Caribbean. It run 3 hours. Despite all the bad reviews from the critics, I still think this is a 'must-watch' for all Pirates of the Carribean fans. This episode makes the 1st and the 2nd instalments a small chapter of the overall plot. Story is well planned, though not historically correct, however entertaining enough.

Last sunday, I took part in a contest. Why do I join such contest? Because I want to challenge myself, and get into it seeing how it is like, besides I want to get some experices . I want to make my life fullest. For those who never participate in such contest, please stop giving any rude comments like my friend said. you will not know how it feels .

As this was my first time , I was very nervous and there were some embarassing moments during the contest .The biggest challenge for me was english , because all the process was in english including Introduction and Q&A.

Fortunately I was chosen in semi-final .

I was not really care the result. From the contest, I gained more than that , I knew some friends and I got some confidence.

Happy Birthday ~~!

Today is my colleague's birthday. We pooled together some money( about $5 dollar per person) to get him a gift. When i reached my workplace, I saw the words" Happy Birthday to Mr .." Then i wrote down some wishes to him. He is a nice and generous person. When he came, he brought chocalate for each of us. Of course, all of us were happy.

I saw the gift we bought, which is a striped shirt, it is very nice. I believed he will like it .

So far I have donated $30 plus since i 've worked here. Because nearly every month there is 2 person's birthday. Ha Ha ... ... I'll have to wait till January for my turn!

Girls and Boys , my birthday is on Jan, 9th. Next year , please don't forget to buy me a nice gift.

I had a hectic weekends, so I felt very tired today.

I worked the whole day, teaching, sometimes I feel i'm not only teaching them but I also learn from them. The children are naive , innocent and cute. I am touched by the words they say every now and then. I remember one Indian girl whose smile is so sweet and once in class I asked her what she wanted to be when she grows up? She said with an inresistable sweet smile that she wants to be a doctor because she wants to help people. I know she meant every word from heart. A lot of people in the real world lose touch on being kind and in order to realise their own goals, they ignore other peoples feelings. From her , I learnt, no matter how fast pace the world is, we still need to keep a good and kind heart.

On Sunday, I was quite tired. I had a photoshoot and the shoot went very well. After the shoot, I went shopping and catch up with my old modelling classmates. We had a nice evening talking about nothing. We promised each other that we will make a get together more often.

I like eating steamboat, but seldom eat it because I am afraid to put on weight . Everytime after eating, I will feel very full.
I can make the Japanese Style " shabu shabu", in english it means steamboat . I learnt it from TV. I am not praising myself, has proven by my friends who all say it is very tasty .
After work, I had asked some friends home, we bought ingredients from Gold Storage. It didn't take a long time to prepare the shabu shabu . Maybe we were too hungry and we ate very fast ,we didn't talk much while we were eating . After eating , I felt very sinful ~~~~
my diet has failed, I will re-start my diet again tomorrow!

Recently, I am keen on doing designs by photoshop. It is very interesting ,I am obsessed by it's power.
Actually this is not my first time using photoshop, many years ago I had learnt this software, but at that time, I didn't really know how effective it was, and what to put it in use, so after a short period, I started missing classes. haha~~ I thought the teacher would have been happy, because i was not a good listener.
As I grow up, I changed my mind. I regret my childish behavior once in a while. I know what i want, If i have another chance to update my skill , I will definitely put my heart into it.
After I got my new lap-top, I wanted to make it useful to me. So i picked up photoshop again. I borrowed reference books from the National Library , then I follow the steps page by page. The more projects I do, The more interesting it gets. I know practise makes perfect, so I do a lot of exercises. It takes quite a bit of time though.

Today I went to HQ(headquarters ) for training. I thought it would have lasted 2 hours, but actually it took 4 hours. It made me nearly sleep during the seminar . The content was about the history of Kumon, why the Kumon method is different from tuition , how to help child to be self-learner, the rules and so on and so forth . So it let me know more about our company. There are 44 kumon branches worldwide, and there are 70+ in singapore .

The best thing that happen today was that I found a new friend who comes from China. She is a talkative and nice girl.

I am gradually involved in the singapore life style, there is not many differences from my previous life style. The only thing is I no longer live with my mum, some things I have to do myself. I have changed from a girl to a small woman . It is a phase all woman will pass . I like the life. I hope i have goals every morning when i wake up; I hope my life is lived with fullness and is colorful; I hate life without goals, as I do not want to lead a holow life.

I have been trying my best to be involved in real local life . So far so good to me, I have a good beginning, I believe " Good begining is job half comleted". I am still trying, and trying to be the best.

No one can predict the future, but if we have goals, and can be contended, i believe tomorrow will be a better day.

Today is Mothers Day, but my mum is not beside me. i feel sorry to her and I can only give her a call for this special day , but she doesn't mind , as she said that is the thought that counts.
I have been singapore for 2+ years, i am used to the life. But i still miss my mum's company. now i really understand that now matter how old u r, u r better with mum's caring.
